Do Muslims worship Prophet Muhammad?

No, absolutely not. Muslims worship Allah alone - this is the core principle of Islam (Tawheed). The Prophet (ﷺ) himself strictly forbade this, saying: "Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians exaggerated in praising the son of Mary. I am only a servant, so say: Allah's servant and His Messenger" (Bukhari 3445). Muslims love, respect, and follow Muhammad (ﷺ) as the perfect example of how to worship Allah, but they never worship him. The Quran clearly states: "Say: I am only a human being like you, to whom it has been revealed that your God is One God" (18:110) and "Muhammad is no more than a messenger; other messengers have passed before him" (3:144). Muslims say "peace be upon him" out of love and respect, not worship.
