Is it halal to work for tech companies with questionable practices?

Existing Quran Wisdom answer. No named author or scholarly review is recorded here. Check references and seek qualified advice for a personal ruling.

It depends on the company's primary business and your role. If the company's main revenue comes from haram activities (gambling, interest, adult content), working there is problematic. If it's a mixed company, scholars differ - some say avoid entirely, others allow if your specific role doesn't involve haram. Consider alternatives and consult scholars.
