Who is Allah?

Allah is the One True God, the Creator and Sustainer of all existence. He is unique, without partners, parents, or offspring. Allah has 99 Beautiful Names reflecting His perfect attributes: The Most Merciful (Ar-Rahman), The All-Knowing (Al-Alim), The All-Powerful (Al-Qadir). He is eternal - without beginning or end - and everything depends on Him while He depends on nothing. Allah is beyond human imagination yet closer to us than our jugular vein. He hears all prayers, knows every thought, and His mercy encompasses everything. The Quran states: "Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there any equivalent to Him" (112:1-4).
