Why is there no prophet after Muhammad?

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the 'Seal of the Prophets' (Khatam an-Nabiyyin) as clearly stated in the Quran (33:40). Allah perfected the religion of Islam through him, completing divine guidance for humanity until the Day of Judgment. The Quran declares: 'This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you' (5:3). Unlike previous scriptures that were meant for specific times and peoples, the Quran is preserved in its original form and its guidance is comprehensive and timeless, eliminating the need for additional prophets.
